Tula Nova Paper Piecing Nora • Beginners Welcome I always had a desire to do English Paper Piecing but thought where do you begin? I took a class recently and fell in love with the process the teacher taught. As a former teacher, I can’t wait to teach others the neat tricks including the use of acrylic templates for best placement of fabric; double sided tape, fabric glue and a secret knot that will keep your needle threaded and still slide through your fabric like butter! Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Joyce Finally, a tool and technique that will allow any quilter to quickly, easily and accurately piece traditional Lemoyne Star blocks in 10 different sizes! The block units are strip pieced, assembled without using any “Y” seams, pieced so that the blocks themselves are slightly oversized so at the end each can be trimmed to an exact size. Joyce will lead you through step-by-step directions and constructing the Constellation quilt project to make the Lemoyne Stars in ALL the sizes from 3”–12”. “Garden Party” Machine Applique Nubin Come explore three different techniques to machine applique. We will be making one block of Laura Heine’s Garden Party Quilt. The block is 22” square and will make a lovely accent pillow, small table topper or wall hanging. You can also choose to continue and make the whole quilt. There will be a limited amount of kits for the whole quilt available. This technique has turned under edges and uses a tiny zig zag stitches. $40.00 2 sessions

One Block Wonder Nora One Block Wonder or also known as a Kaleidoscope Quilt. This quilt is made up of 6 triangles to form a hexagon. The design of the fabric will give the feel of a kaleidoscope. The pieces are sewn onto half hexagons which makes sewing the rows together quite easy. The movement from the fabric design is stunning in the finished project. “Fancy Lemoyne Stars” Joyce Strip Pieced Lemoyne Star, Liberty Lemoyne Star, Banded Lemoyne Star and a surprise star or two. Expand your use of the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star and let your creative Spirit Soar! This class uses three Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star Technique Sheets. Each sheet makes sizes from 4” to 12”. We will be making the 9” stars for this class. I feel the 9” size is a good place to start. Once you get the technique down the stars will shine in an array of colors. $36.00 1 session
