NEW BOM CLUB Folk-Tail Wool Quilt Lorraine • Beginners Welcome Participants will applique and embroider their way across the African savannah using colorful wool , velvet and cotton fabrics to create a 38” x 44” quilt alive with native animals. With Sue Spargo’s Folk-Tails, students will learn the techniques to create three 6 ½” x 6 ½” wool appliue blocks each month. Students will enjoy embellishing their blocks with a variety of threads and materials using over 30 stitches. The blocks can be machine or hand-pieced together but the wool applique and embroidery will be completed by hand. Wool lovers of all skill levels are welcome! There will be a total of 12 sessions. $35.00           3 sessions           2 ½ hours

NEW BOM Pick-up and Go All Star Quilt Along Lynda • Beginners Welcome This quilt is one of our new quilts in the “Pick-Up and Go” category. All Star Quilt Along is a unbelievable bright and cheerful quilt. Just looking at it will make you smile! Your kit will be available on the 3rd Friday of each month May-September, Lynda will have a short tutorial from 1–2 pm during the summer months. You may stay and sew. Please call and sign up. $5 per session Friday, May 18, June 15, July 20, Aug 17           1–2 pm “Flower Dance” Becky One sure way to feel more confident on your embroidery machine is to embroider on a regular basis. You will learn to use stabilizers you may not have used before, along with two different methods of applique in the hoop. Join Becky each month and you will be amazed how confident you will be in just a few classes. Make this beautiful quilt designed by Smith Street Designs. You can choose to make the bed size or the lap size. All designs will be taught in class. Beginners up to experienced are welcome. Stitcher’s Garden Carolyn Get familiar with your sewing machine while making this beautiful quilt. We will be using decorative stitches and many different feet to learn different sewing techniques such as: fusible applique, couching, piping, line quilting, pin tucking, double needle work, bobbin play. This class is for beginners as well as experienced sewers. First Saturday 2018 “Twilight Gardens” Lets start 2018 with a fun and colorful gem of a quilt. A monthly instruction time on Friday and Saturday will make each month a breeze. Applique Day “The Street Where You Live” Helen Even if it doesn’t look like your street you’ll wish it was! Charming houses, funky trees, simple, stylized people make up this neighborhood. You’ll buy the sky, grass, and sidewalk backgrounds and all the other fabrics will be included in the kits. The designs will work for either hand or machine applique. Come join the fun! The summer project will be Sue Spargo’s Needle Roll. This is a beginner and beyond class that is fun and relaxing! BERNINA Capsule Club Presented by Jaime David BERNINA Capsule Club 2018 will be taking a his and hers theme. The 2018 Capsule Wardrobe will cover basic wear, swimwear, underwear, and outerwear. We will focus on learning techniques on both Overlockers and Sewing machines. Kathy will be making the boys board shorts, using the islet tool for making the holes for ties.
